Affiliations
Apart from Faith, Hope and Charity pictured here, Prytaneion Lodge has many affiliations both in the Craft and non-Masonic.
Prytaneion Chapter Nº 9340
On the 11th October 1997, Prytaneion Lodge sponsored the Prytaneion Holy Royal Arch Chapter so naturally, we have very close ties with the 'Royal Arch' through the Chapter.
The Lodge has a Royal Arch Rep who can direct any enquiry to Prytaneion or indeed any other Royal Arch Chapter in the Province and is happy to answer any other questions. Leave a message on the Contact page for the Secretary who will forward it on to him.
Other Orders
There are members of the lodge who support other Masonic Degrees other than the Royal Arch, one of the main ones being the Mark Masters Degree as well as many others up to the 33º.
Freemasonry
We say: "Masonry is a peculair system of morality, veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols."
Freemasons have a set of basic principles that they all live by. Masonic lodge members promise never to bring anything offensive or defensive into the lodge with them — that's both weapons and words. The object of the lodge is to create a place where those divisions are left outside, so Masons can engage in activities that unite them instead of separating them; to be happy and communicate happiness.
